John has been buried in the Canadian Blues scene for 40 years. He has played with many of the greats including John Lee Hooker, Pinetop Perkins, Sunnyland Slim, Albert Collins, Homesick James, and James Cotton. He’s a constant source of information and enthusiasm and a welcomed addition to the Bill Johnson Band since 2007. One of the unique qualities to the band’s sound is that authentic old school drum groove that he delivers with conviction and authority. Listeners and dancers will agree.
